To Twenty-Six, The Best Birthday
Saturday I celebrated my twenty-sixth birthday. Last year when I hit 25 I took time to 'glory board' (Danielle LaPorte style) its where you take time to list all of your accomplishments instead of just mainly focusing on the things you want to accomplish. I was incredibly floored at how much I accomplished in my short 25 years and the past year has been a whirlwind of crushing some major goals. I feel so honored and grateful for what I get to do everyday. Some days its hard to believe how young I am, I feel like I have lived multiple lives and have learnt so much in such a short amount of time. I am incredibly excited for the year ahead, this year feels B-I-G! Cheers to the 2-6!
I had the most special day. Landon surprised me in the morning with a fresh bouquet of flowers, my favorite specialty coffee, and a yummy home-made breakfast. We spent the entire morning in our PJ's hanging out in our living room with our puppy Ella. I was gifted a letter press and stamp with my logo and a variety of my favorite things from my favorite store: INDIGO. I have a major book and stationary obsession, like for real. He knows me so well and in true Landon fashion... my gift was practical and something that I really needed. I loved it!
In the early afternoon we headed off to Kananaskis for a short day hike, nothing major since I'm still hesitant to do too much after my knee injury. It was snowing and we had fun snapping some photos and taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Plus it was an awesome way to do some location scouting for my clients while hanging out with my family. Here are a few of my favorite shots from our first walk.
After, we headed to Canmore to visit Communitea, Landon and I always make a stop to grab their amazing chicken pad thai and then we grabbed some Grizzly Paw ginger beer before heading home. Landon baked me a gluten free vanilla cake with chocolate frosting and then we watched the musical 'The Last 5 Years.' It was an incredible birthday. I'm a lucky gal. x
