Jessica & Chad | Calgary Italian Cultural Centre Wedding

Jess & Chad have grown together; high school parties, diploma exams, big dreams and new beginnings in their careers, to this day - their wedding day. Together they welcomed friends and family at the Bonavista Baptiste Church where they looked lovingly to each other as they recited their personal vows of devotion, love, and patience. Jess’s baby brother, Jake, on Skype looked on in the hands of her father, as each family gathered like old friends to witness their respective families becoming one.

Kinship… this is how I will always remember this wedding. It had this incredible air around it, everyone felt like a large family, no one felt separate, no one felt like they didn’t belong in that room, even myself and my second shooter who have only known the couple for about a year.

Jessica, so genuine and caring, makes everyone around her feel welcomed and loved on such a deep personal level. No matter the distance she has always made the effort to hold on the people she loves. Chad, the rock, the foundation, when you peel back the first quiet layer you find a man who loves to laugh and will do anything for the woman he loves.

Jess & Chad, I am so grateful you trusted in me in capturing your day. Cheers to a life-time of joy, a love that is unbound, and to a family that only keeps growing. I hope your honey-moon in Hawaii was what dreams were made of. All my love to you both, Jamie.

Jess and her 'maids started their day off with a trip to Starbucks after having a girls slumber party the night before. They got ready at Christina's home, enjoyed lattes, champagne, and strawberries while having their hair and makeup done. Make-up was done by the talented Valerie Guzman

Chad surprised his wife-to-be with a gorgeous Tiffany infinity bracelet, a symbol, that their love will last forever.

Natalie Westerbeek, my second shooter, spent the morning with Chad and his Grooms Men. Drinking cocktails and Skyping with Jake (Jess's brother and Groomsmen) who unfortunately couldn't make the Wedding due to being drafted for the Ottawa Red Blacks.

The Wedding Ceremony was at Boavista Baptiste Church.

After the ceremony we drove down to Fish Creek Park and photographed in the trees. Rain clouds were looming, the wind was beginning to pick up, and we managed to escape the rain JUST in time!

The reception was held at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre or also known as the Italian Club located centrally off on Edmonton trail in the NE.

Jake had coordinated a surprise video for the couple. There were no dry eyes in the audience. Even my view finder was getting fogged up.

The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife.
