Belle + David ✨ I was SO excited that they were down for this secret location to celebrate their engagement as it’s actually the backyard of my aunt and uncles home (by the way they are selling their house if you are looking for slice of paradise in Canmore area haha I’ll just plug that in!) ✨ It was literally the most perfect day with it being 14 degrees, not a cloud in sight and the water wasn’t totally frozen over and the mountain still had snow!! Gah. Couldn’t have been better, excited to see how the film came out for this one. ✨ #jamieanholtweddings

Forever a fave spot. ✨ True story: I’ve never been here when it’s not a wedding and it’s high on my list to experience with Landon. The staff has always been SO incredible to work with, it’s beautiful, and the food is 👌🏻✨ The Lake House... you’re a gem.

Katie walked in to Ranchmans one fateful evening and saw Sean towering over everyone, he’s pretty tall and very charismatic so he easily stands out. She knew him from before but it wasn’t until she had some liquid courage to approach him with one heck of a one liner haha. It’s actually hilarious (and I’m going to keep it private) but if you knew Katie (or as Sean affectionately calls her, Katherine- which I adore!) it sounds even funnier since she’s just the sweetest, down to earth human who has a huge heart and loves her animals. I actually met her ages ago! She’s as sweet as honey but she’s got this whole other flirty-sassy side to her that I love seeing Sean bring out of her. I adore these two so much and can’t wait for their wedding in Kelowna this summer! ✨ #jamieanholtweddings

One of the coolest intimate elopements. ✨ I remember when I left telling Jamie and Jacki how photographing their day was so replenishing for me creatively. I left on cloud 9. Grateful to my couples who fill my cup. ✨ ps. They were featured in @rockymtnbride !! #jamieanholtweddings

LOVE YOUR GUTS ✨ I’m still learning this.... what does it mean for you to love your guts? Besides the fact that fermented foods and probiotics are literally* loving my guts and my love for nutrition. ✨ For me: seeing myself naked in the mirror and thinking, girl, you look good and sometimes giving myself a high five in the mirror like a complete dork. Getting my sweat on at a spin class, hiit class, yoga or pilates. Working with a coach on Intuitive Eating and learning how to listen to my body. Turning my phone off after 7pm. Getting to bed early and letting my husband be my alarm clock in the morning, he wakes me up by saying “coffee?” Yes please! Deleting the email app off of my phone. (Best thing ever!) Asking for help. Prayer. Mindful moments through out the day where I take deep breaths. Eating Whole Foods and saying no to things that make me feel absolutely terrible. Drinking a lot of water, yummy juices, and kombucha in a wine glass. Saying “no” and scaling back. Resting when I’m tired. Reading in the afternoon. ✨ What do you do to love your guts?
